West Plains MO | Promoting a Business in The Ozarks

West Plains MoPromoting Business in West Plains MO

This short article is the first of a series of posts focusing on promoting and stimulating the economy in the West Plains Mo area.   At the same time this post also provides some informational background on the contents of OzSBI’s upcoming March 18, 2014 workshop on content marketing.

Keys to Economic Stimulation

One key to stimulating the economy of any area is to encourage an inflow of cash into that area from economically healthy areas.  That’s true for an entire country, or for the smallest municipalities.

The United States encourage exports, which in turn result in an inflow of cash which originated in the economies of other countries.  This creates a flow of cash which otherwise would not have existed on its own domestically.  Areas as small as West Plains and Howell County are not an exception to that principle of cash flow and economic growth.

Historically recognized as a relatively low income area, the standard of living in The Ozarks has in fact been gradually rising in recent years as more local residents have learned to generate higher income levels, many of them arising from doing more business with outside areas.

Local residents accomplish this by either working at home for themselves, or by working for larger companies.  In either case, when emphasis is placed on selling products or services to outside areas, the result is an increase of resources and cash flow into our area.  That cash then circulates around and ultimately benefits locals by changing hands and  being here to be spent!

Local Content Marketing Promotes and Encourages Cash Flow into West Plains

Content marketing concepts encourage and enable business owners to learn to draw from a broader range of customer base, much of it being outside of their traditional geographical area.  How is that growing external customer base found?

A growing customer base is created by establishing a  more effective present online!

The bottom line result of increased cash flow for any business is an increase in its revenue. More revenue benefits not just that company and its employees.   In the long run and in the big economic picture, everyone and every other business in the community benefit from that increased presence of cash.

How does doing business online stimulate a lower standard local economy?west plains mo

Businesses in previously depressed economic regions are acting as catalysts to the stimulation of  the local economies by focusing their marketing efforts in an online direction. The most effective ways of marketing a business online are represented by the art and science of content marketing.

Effectively implemented content marketing causes more cash to flow in from outside of the area.  It then naturally changes hands inside the area, thereby benefiting not only business owners, but its employees, and ultimately the community at large.

An Increased Standard of Life in West Plains

Like changes in atmospheric pressure pressure adjust naturally. similarly, economic voids are also naturally filled and adjusted.  Our local economy can continue to grow by leaps and bounds when effectively stimulated  by efficient and forward thinking  uses of internet marketing!

Even the most locally oriented businesses reap the benefits of economic growth stimulated from the outside.  As a result of in increase in the presence of cash in the community created by those doing more business with outside areas, their own business  revenue will also also necessarily and naturally increase.  Why?  More money is being spent in the community.  That improvement in the business climate ultimately leads to the creation of  more jobs and higher salaries. It’s an expanding trend!

Improving technology is helping

With the advent of improving high speed internet availability, even more opportunity is continually opening up for online based local businesses, fueling a great positive economic adjustment for our area.

Your Presence Online is the Key to New Business

In today’s market you will not be found without a strong online presence

Your presence online, whether it is in the form of a website page, a blog post, or a YouTube video, is a representation of your business that works for you 24/7 and 365 days per year.  Every piece of online content is essentially an abbreviated sales letter which gives you the opportunity to extend a welcoming presence and inform your ideal customer of exactly how your business could benefit them.presence online

What makes them your ideal customer?  The fact that they were searching online for something specific, and it is you that they found.  Think about that for a moment.

They were actively searching for more information, and found that information in your online content.

That serves another important purpose as well. Your relevant and timely answers to the questions they had, position you as an authority in their mind.  Therefore, the more pieces of online content with relevant timely answers to questions about your business, the more your business benefits.

We specialize in content marketing, content creation, blogging services, and in getting those pieces of content to the very first pages of Google, where they are sure to be seen.

We can get them on top either through a new website or an existing one.  Either way our goal is to cause your content to be found by people searching for information about what you do. We also encourage clients to work with us to help them to learn to take complete control of their own web presence and online content programs.

Our available individualized training teaches you the essentials of handling as much of your own website content management as you choose.  After all, you know your own customers better than anyone else could.

SEO: Search Engine Optimization

We are specialists in the effective use of SEO techniques.  SEO is an acronym for search engine optimization, an important quality factor which determines your website’s effectiveness to connect those searching for your services with you.

SEO is a set of content factors and other behind the scenes factors which optimize the importance and appearance of your website in the eyes of search engines. There are numerous factors involved in search engine optimizing a website.

Exactly how SEO it is done depends upon the needs and type of business being promoted.  There is no set formula for ideal SEO.

The very first step in implementing an SEO approach is to determine what key words your ideal customer might type into a search engine.

The next most important step is to determine how many other people are also trying to get on the first page of Google for those terms. Sometimes reaching the top is easy and sometimes it is not.

There are two strains of SEO.  One strain is the obvious on-page content that is easy to evaluate because we all can see it.  The second strain of SEO is less visible.

Our SEO services begin with on-page work, and then go much deeper.  We have a strong grasp and command of the latest behind the scenes SEO techniques which go above and beyond mere on-page contents, formatting, and appearance.

Behind the scenes SEO factors are primarily driven by careful and effective management of backlinks – links to your website from websites which search engines consider significant.

Profitable Affiliate Advertising Websites

Profitable Affiliate Advertising Websites

affiliate advertising websites

Why not get your slice of the pie?

If you have any website that already gets a significant amount of traffic, or that has the potential of becoming a very high traffic website, then placing appropriate affiliate ads on it is absolutely the easiest way there is to make money online.

There is no cost to put up an affiliate ad.  All you need to do is sign up with a company that has an affiliate advertising program and place one of their ads, usually already prepared for you, on your site.  If the right products are advertised on the right site, you have a winning combination.

First, what is affiliate advertising and how does it work?

Affiliate advertisers are “pay-by-commission” advertisers.  When you put their affiliate ad on your site, each time someone clicks on that affiliate ad residing on your site and makes a purchase, you earn a sales commission from them. Most affiliate commissions range from 5% to 10%.

Many major merchandise sellers offer online affiliate programs, and it costs you nothing at all to place their affiliate ad

affiliate advertising website

People sell their products everywhere.

on your website.  Then, whenever someone makes a purchase through your ad, you make a few bucks, even while you’re sleeping.

If they would happen buy through someone else’s ad, that someone else makes those few bucks instead of you.  If you are trying to make money online, the choice seems simple:

  1. Either make the effort to make yourself available to earn a few bucks, or
  2. Don’t make yourself available, and just let someone else make the commission.

I prefer option 1. Don’t you?  And, the more online presence you have, the more likely does it become that affiliate purchases are going to take place on one of your websites.

And nobody loses!  The affiliate company is always happy to make a few more sales that might never d have taken place without the presence of your ad.

Don’t I have to know how to build a website to use affiliate advertising?

If you want be able to completely manage and control your income, the answer to that question is ideally, “yes”.  But you don’t have to go that route.  You could also hire a good SEO to build an affiliate advertising site for you, for a price.  Or you might consider purchasing an already successful site.  There are a few places you could go to buy operable websites.  I would recommend starting with something like  flippa.com if that is the route you want to take.

affiliate advertising websiote

Build a strong presence!

But keep in mind that building websites is easier and far less intimidating than many would have you believe – especially those who put websites together for a living and do little or no SEO work.  SEOs do much more than just build websites, and good ones are up to the challenge of helping you to turn any new and profitable idea into a money making reality.

You need a good high traffic website featuring a well defined subject.

If you want to do this yourself,  start by choosing some topic that you are interested in, or might be interested, in that gets a whopping amount of searches.  Google Keyword Planner is the newest Google tool for key word research.  Most of us don’t really like the new Keyword Planner, as it is really oriented towards ease of use for customers purchasing Google Adwords pay-per-click advertisements, making it a less useful tool for some other keyword research tasks.

How to proceed:  Watch my video

The video embedded in this post goes through a step by step procedure of how to use Google Keyword Planner together with Go Daddy to find yourself a great and effective domain name for your planned affiliate site.  Your new domain name needs to be a highly searched phrase associated with your topic of interest, which does not already face a lot of well constructed competing websites coming up at the top of Google.

On the video I go through all the procedures we followed to create one of our own developing affiliate sites, called breakingbadcast.org.  If you are a fan of the Breaking Bad television series, this is my chance to plug that site and I hope you will enjoy what we have put together so far.

I hope that this post has stimulated your mind.  Consider  the endless possibilities there are for creating profitable affiliate websites that are also fun and entertaining for people to engage with! And don’t miss our free video training series!

Happy Blogging in 2014!

Internal Linking Paves Way for Backlinks

Designing a backlink plan and internal linking plan
internal linking

Paving the way to backlinks

A good backlink plan and an internal linking plan which interconnects the pages and posts of your website and blog can do wonders for improving your search engine ranking results.  Here is something valuable and extremely simple about an internal linking plan that I have proven that is worth a mention.

How do Google algorithms work?

Understanding the operation of Google algorithms is what really drives the subject of designing an ideal backlink and site inter-linking plan.  And who understands Google algorithms?  Apparently nobody does except for the guru-geeks at Google, who are not about to make that common knowledge!

While we are kept in the dark we can only learn about the effects of search engine algorithms by trying, doing, and listening to others.

Back to Basics
internal linking

Sometimes it helps to go back and re-invent the wheel.

Every once in a while it is helpful to go back and review the basics for yourself  – just be  sure that the basic idea of a wheel is properly conceived in your own thought.  Listening to so many different voices can be confusing until you see the big and simple picture clearly in your own thought. Today I thought I would get back to the basics by just reading what Google had to say about how web crawling works.

What is Crawling ?

Google defines crawling as navigating the web from page to page by following linksThat is the key, links!

If you watch your statistics on search results, as you need to be doing, you may wonder to yourself why some original and quality content posts that are carefully crafted around non competitive key words still seem to be getting completely ignored by Google.

Maybe they are just not getting found in the first place because you’re unintentionally not showing them to Google!   The fact is that links direct crawlers where to go next after they have finished with a page.

internal linking

Here is an actual Googlebot. I caught this one crawling through my site.

Have you been providing the crawlers with information on how to find your next post? Crawlers need links if you hope for them to find your content.   If all you have given Google is a sitemap but you have no real linking plan in place, then you are not really directing the crawlers.  Something else in that mysterious and great Google algorithm is directing them, and to who knows where?

A sitemap does tell the search engine what the structure of your site is, but it does not direct web crawlers through it. Links are the necessary to ensure that they see all that you want them to see. Welcome the crawlers!  Design a path with links for them to follow through your site.

A Revised Link Structure

In a nutshell, if you establish a set of key word related hyper links within the text of each post that interconnects each of your blog posts – crawlers will

internal links

Some links in need of maintenance and TLC.

then have links they can follow to find all of your content.

With no interconnecting links between your pages and/or posts, each post is more or less independent of the others.  If a crawler finds your post but doesn’t see a link as to where it’s best to go next, it probably will not go where you want it to.

After you implement an interconnecting linking plan, you will actually “open up the gates” so that crawlers find the paths that you want them to navigate through your blog, and the crawlers will go into places where they otherwise never would have ever before been.

The results are immediate

I proved this to myself by taking one of our sites which had no interconnecting links at all, and then implementing a thorough link looping plan.  I added hyper text driven linking loops until every post in the blog was connected by a link or series of links to one of the front pages of the website. During  the process of adding the links, I watched  the WordPress statistics page with he StatPress plug in, which monitors crawler and spider traffic.

There was an immediate  massive increase in crawler traffic through the site.  Crawlers were landing on a new post each time they saw a new link to it from the previous post which  they had just finished.

I’m not saying that this will have any immediate effect on improving any key word search result ranking.  It most certainly eventually will have such an effect, but it does have the immediate effect of allowing more growth inducing spiders to crawl their way through the site into crevices and nooks and crannies which would they otherwise might well have missed.

Final Analysis

Keep in mind that this increase in activity had nothing at all to do with backlinks from external sites, while remembering that this internal linking is a necessary prerequisite to taking full advantage of the use of external high PR backlinks once they  do get put in place.

internal linking

When you open the channels the water will flow!

The lesson here is that you can open up paths through which crawlers can gain access to your posts if you simply specify links for them  to navigate through.  If you don’t do it , then the crawlers are far less likely to find your posts than if you do.

Additionally, if you put high PR backlinks into place, you will have an already in- place system through which powerful link juice can be spread throughout your site.  For more information see my post on silo concepts.

Good Linking Strategy Drives Traffic

What does linking strategy have to do with traffic?

linking strategy

Keep the traffic flowing!

Before you start messing with designing a linking strategy within your website and/or blog, it’s best to first have a handle on the general guidelines of good SEO practice.  That means that each time you create a new post, you should already be in the habit of including the key word in the title, URL, and meta description, and be following a few other basic SEO rules.

It also helps to use an SEO quality checker each time you post.   We work in WordPress, and for SEO checking that we use a plug-in called SEO by Yoast, but that’s not our subject here.

If you’re at least that far along in getting a blog rolling, this post may help you.

Linking strategy and the power of backlinks

My purpose in this post is to introduce the concept of linking strategy to those striving to increase their traffic, and who  already practice good SEO habits in their content creation.   Various SEOs seem to have different experiences and therefore different recommendations about linking strategies.

Perhaps nobody except the algorithm writing gurus at Google understand how the search engines really look at and treat backlinks. Therefore I’m not going to make any recommendations about how to design a backlink plan that works.  I’m only going to introduce the idea and then advise you to think about it.

Outbound links and backlinks

Don’t stop reading now because you don’t know the difference yet.  It’s easy.  Outbound links refer to links you put in your site directing people to otherlinking strategy sites.  Backlinks is a term that refers to any link which points back to your site.  One is outbound, the other is inbound.

What does a backlink do for you?

A backlink links to your site from somewhere outside of your site.  Search engines maintain a continually changing database of every webpage’s level of importance.  That level of importance is called its PR, or page ranking, and is on a scale of zero to 9.   The higher is your PR, the more likely is that page to rank highly in searches.

Search engines raise your PR when more highly recognized authority sites, those with higher PR, link to yours.  Of course, there are other vital factors.  The most important other vital factor is that the site that provides a backlink to you only contributes to raising your PR if it is a site that is related to the same subject as yours.

So the bottom line about backlinks is this:  Your site gains significance when search engines see that sites of higher relevance than yours are linking to you.

linking strategyThe Concept of Link Juice

When sites of higher PR than yours link to you, you gain power from them.  In SEO jargon that power is called “link juice”.   As your site is empowered by more and more link juice, the pages that are getting juiced from them get higher search engine rankings.  That’s an over simplification, for now.

What does an outbound link do for you?

There are differing opinions in answer to that question.  Again, only the Google gurus know what they are doing this week.

One school of thought says that outbound links to important sites are good for you, and that Google wants to see them.  I cannot pretend to know whether that statement is true, partially true, conditionally true, or false, but I think it falls somewhere in the middle.  Sometimes outbound links are really helpful in terms of providing significant content for the reader, and it makes sense that Google would recognize that as a factor to rank by.

Another school of thought says that outbound links only serve to bleed vital link juice off of your site and back out into the web world.   Few also can verify the truth of that statement.  We have been experimenting with the line of thought that says it can do us no harm at all to remove any outbound links that add no real quality to the content of the post.

Can external link juice be amplified within your own site?

linking strategy

Amplify the juice!

In short, yes, and that is the subject of another post on the concept of link “silos” and internal links.  You can boost the importance of posts on your blog which need the most boosting using external juice from a high PR site,  and then spread that juice within your site by passing it on to boost your other pages or posts that don’t need quite as much help.  We’ll address silos and their effects on PR in a coming post.

What is Content Marketing? Why Should I Care?

What is content marketing and why should I care what it is?

what is content marketing

If you want to stay in business, YOU! (Nobody really cared about Gerald Ford)

Being in an SEO business makes it necessary to repeatedly answer the commonly asked question “What is content marketing”?  So, here we go once more!

Content marketing is putting a plan into practice that makes your company’s name highly visible in places where people are looking for what you do.  In today’s world, the most significant place for people to look for information is of course, online.

So today, good content marketing means having online content online that is sure to be found.

What is meant by online content?

Online content is individual pieces of written material, video material, or audio material that lives online.  Each piece

what is content marketing

HUH???

of content has its own unique URL, so each piece of content stands on its own, and can get found in the results of online searches.

Why do YOU need online content?

You need online content because it’s a competitive world.  You are not the only business providing the services that you I offer!

Every company wants to be highly visible in the places where people are looking for what that company does (and that place is online).

What kind of people are looking for information about what you do?

People who are bound to become somebody’s customers are looking for information about what you do.  Good content marketing ensures that they become your customers, and not the customers of your competition.  Put your content in front of them before they find the content of your competition.

Where do I put all this content?

what is content marketing

Put it over there!! In the blog!

You need an organized place online to put a lot of content about yourself.  The more content there is about you to be found online, the more your content is going to be found by people looking for information about what you do.

The Website

A business website is the essential starting point.  Every business needs a place to define itself,  to define its products, its location, its personnel, and whatever else the owner deems necessary for potential customers to know about it. Although the definition of your website will probably change in format and contents over time, it’s always the basic online definition of who you are online.  It’s a foundation.

Don’t stop here!  You’ve only built a foundation, not an entire house!

The Blog

A blog is an organized place to go beyond the boundaries of your website.  In a blog you have the opportunity to really express yourself, to showcase the authority you possess in your specialty.

Blog posts contain personalized, interesting, sought after information that’s relevant to your business and/or your industry, and that points people to you as the authority.  Blog posts are your opportunity to really toot your horn about your expertise.

Blog posts are a great place to showcase yourself on video too.  Store your video on YouTube and every video you make becomes another piece of searchable content, in addition to the post that contains it in your blog.

The blog provides you the opportunity to really expand your online presence with no limits.  You can keep adding content to it forever, and the more content you add, the more people find your content.

And because the blog resides as a subset of your website, whenever people go there to read or watch or listen to your content, they are already where you need them to be – on your website.

An Industry Wide Blog for Vintage Motorsports

industry wide blogIndustry wide blog vs individual blogging

Whatever your business specialty, participation in an industry wide blog can be an effective supplement to your online authority. Blogging presence begins with your own self promotion in your own blog,  but you can gain a lot of visibility by participating in industry wide online presence.

This post is an offer, so please don’t stop here!  Read on!

Forums are a popular place to start. Participation in an industry wide blog, a blog operated by an independent editor who accepts blog posts (and most accept advertising) from various businesses across a particular industry, are another option you might want to consider.

Why do most industry wide blogs look so annoying?industry wide blog

I noticed a while back that most industries are pretty much void of an effective industry wide blog. Those that exist for cars and motorcycles are usually jam packed with distracting banner ads.

In fact, they are so jam packed with annoying banner ads and distractions, that, in my opinion, they are not pleasing to the eye.  I tend to not want to stay there.  They are not really blogs, but advertising sites.

I didn’t do a lot of looking across a wide variety of industries before I made these statements, but I did search for industry wide blogs covering subjects about cars and motorcycles.

I did not find any which tempted me to return to them on the basis of appearance.  They were generally too flashy, annoying, and more commercially oriented than they were content oriented. Again, they are not blogs, but advertising websites disguised as blogs.

industry wide blogAn annoying example

I don’t want to pick on anybody, but I’m going to give an example of what I find to be an annoying motorcycle industry blog that is in my opinion too flashy, annoying, and distracting.

I also might be doing them a slight favor just by mentioning them, so that’s all fair and good.  For an example of the look many of us do not like, just go to www.motorcycleusa.comThat’s annoying.

My concept of a cleanly styled industry wide blog

So, I asked myself, “Self, why can’t there be an industry wide blog that looks as clean and free on annoying banner ads as my own private blogs do?”

I also asked myself, “Self, why do industry wide blogs have to look like industry wide blogs?  Why can’t they retain the clean appearance of a private blog?”

And my self answered “Stirling, it’s because you haven’t created one yet.”  In response I thought about what I am interested in doing, and set myself to creating a new blog about that something.  A couple of months ago I volunteered to create a website and blog discussing vintage motorsports topics.

The site I created focuses on vintage motorcycle racing and on vintage automobile racing.  I’ve been involved in both, so this theme is a great fit for me.  It makes it easy for me to stay motivated  to create regular content while we popularize the site.

If you are already on the vintage site, welcome!   If you are on the STRATEGY Content Marketing site, then check out the vintage site and then read on back here again!

What is different about this blog?
industry wide blog

There are no ads on it.  There are none, and there never will be any.   It looks like a blog for enthusiasts, by enthusiasts, because, it basically is.

If you want to write about something relevant to vintage racing while promoting your products or services, I’ll include you as a guest blogger.  You won’t feel like you’re competing with other advertisers, because you’re not really adverti per se.  What you’re really doing is improving your own self image, bettering your own “brand” in the vintage community.

I’ll even help you write your post if that’s what you need. The fee will be modest in comparison to that of a banner ad, which nobody wants to see anyway.

industry wide blogJoin me NOW for free!

As traffic volume increases on this site, the privilege of blogging on it will become more valuable.  Join me now for no fee at all by simply sending me some unique content, or an outline for content you would like to be written, or simply new ideas for new content.

How long will it be free?

Charges for publication will apply to new contributors only when my stats show that traffic projections are significant.

Contributor fees will be scaled up in proportion to the site’s traffic volume.  Contributor fees will remain at the participation fee level which was in effect at the time they published their initial piece of content.

So, start contributing now for free, while the site is in the most need of being stimulated!

I anticipate a future graduated contributor fee structure which will increase in proportion as contributor space on the blog is higher in demand.

What kind of content do we need?

If it has to do with old cars and./or motorcycles and the topic of racing, write about it!  Your

industry wide blog post is a great place to plug whatever it is that you sell or service.

If you restore ZF transmissions, for example, write a technical article about that.  Let everybody know what you know.

If you’re a Weber carburetor guru who knows how to properly rejet for the adaptation of a nonstandard set of carbs on this engine or that one, then toot your horn here!

Or, if you build café racers from old oddball junkyard bikes, write an article and blow your own horn here.

Or, if you just attended an awesome SVRA race and you just want to write a report while plugging something about your race related business, do it!

Those are just examples that flew off the top of my head.  Drop me an email or give me a call to talk about anything you would like to contribute.

industry wide blogWhere we stand now

We need regular periodic blog post contributions to make this site grow.  In the coming weeks I expect to begin sharing content from this site on as many pages and forums as can be found which relate to the vintage racing world.

I’ll keep you all posted on growth.  Presently traffic is low.  Today we received 40 visits, but visit counts always increase each time new content is published.  It could be your material making this worthy cause grow!

Content Marketing

This is content marketing for vintage racing.  If you’d like to learn more about the generalities of content marketing, please watch the free video training series which Kristen, my wife and the other half of STRATEGY Content Marketing, has produced.   I’ve included a hyperlink to the training because this post is going on both blogs.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Content Marketing Stimulates Business Beyond City Limits

content marketing stimulates business

Our Court House Square 100 Years Ago

Content marketing stimulates business past geographical boundaries

Let’s start out with three questions that have to do with how content marketing stimulates business in general.  Every business person needs to be asking themselves these questions all the time:

  1.  Are you satisfied with your present level of business?
  2. Are you satisfied with your present level of revenue?
  3. Are you satisfied with the level of recognition and authority that you and your business receive?

Most business persons, especially owners of younger businesses that are still struggling to get established, would answer “yes” to all three questions.  You might be in some transition stage where you have more business now than you can possibly handle, but at some point in the future there is no doubt that you are going to want to do more business, and as a result earn more money, and enjoy more authority as the provider of what you do.So, if “yes” is ultimately the answer to all three of these questions, content marketing is going to steer you to finding a way to accomplish all three of those goals with one approach.

Where is your customer base? Is it local?

Do you offer products or services that could be sold outside of your present customer base?  If you live in a small town, the market may be already saturated.  Where could you go to get even more customers than you have now? Now we can address what the term content marketing actually means, because it’s an answer to all of these questions.

Content Marketing

Content marketing is putting content, information, on the internet about your products and services.  Have you ever gone to a search engine to find out more information about a topic? Of course!  Then you know how you have used the internet to find content.  And everybody is doing it, not just you! Make your information front and center for everybody!  Write and publish written content, and video content, about your business.  And then make sure that your content  is the content people are seeing when they search for information.

The blog is the place where you put all of your content – everything you write and everything you make videos about.  You can attach a blog right to your website. If you’re making good content, people are going to start finding it and reading about it.  Every time they search, there you are.  And there they are, on your website again.

Targeted customer lists

Whenever people find you because in your blog you’ve given them something good to find out about your business, you can make them want to be on your list.  People who sign up to be on your list want new information from you. Use that targeted list to send them other promotional offers.  They’ll love it!  This kind of marketing makes you look good while increasing your level of business and revenue. All 3 of our opening questions are now answered!

Everyone Benefits. Cold calling, anyone?  No, thanks.

Cold calling can be….well…cold….and it can turn into a battle!

Business owners with or without a website can use these strategies to grow their business.  The greatest thing about it is that your potential customers identify themselves to you.  Not the other way around!  Stop that! Does anybody like cold calling?  I have a friend who claims he does.  I know that I don’t! It’s  also interesting to note that many people develop a significant income by using online content marketing, whether they have a traditional “brick and mortar” business that sells physical products, or a less tangible product or service.
